The International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Pharmaceutical Medicine, IFAPP, since 1975
IFAPP’s primary objective is to bring together physicians and scientists from the pharmaceutical industry and contract research organisations with colleagues working in research institutes, academia, medicines regulatory agencies and patient organisations, in order to stimulate the advancement of knowledge in Pharmaceutical Medicine globally.
The increasingly important role of pharmaceutical physicians and non-medical professionals involved in the medicines development process has become increasingly important, driven by rapid medical and scientific advancements. National and global conferences, meetings and events organised throughout the world have facilitated this process.
Currently, 24 National Member Associations (NMAs) represent the interests and goals of several thousand professionals active in Pharmaceutical Medicine
Pharmaceutical Medicine is the medical scientific discipline concerned with the discovery, development, evaluation, registration, monitoring and medical aspects of marketing of medicines for the benefit of patients and public health.
