IFAPP International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Pharmaceutical Medicine

The recent extraordinary achievements in the drug and medical device developments have been possible by close collaboration of key stakeholders across the world. Our mission within the Communication Working Group is to provide all National Member Associations (NMAs) and IFAPP members the format to present their accomplishments and success, to learn from each other and to improve in the entire drug and device development process.

Scope

The IFAPP community of professionals will be updated on matters of global and national interest. The Communication Working Group welcomes contributions from NMAs, Individual Affiliates, and from other IFAPP working groups, which will be shared on the IFAPP official website, the monthly newsletter IFAPP TODAY, our LinkedIn channels and during one of the upcoming next IFAPP meetings.

The Communication Working Group will further share all information about education and training opportunities in the life science field with a focus on Clinical Research and Medical Affairs.

Objectives

  • The coordination, communication, and dissemination of relevant information in Pharmaceutical Medicine among NMAs, IFAPP Individual Affiliates and IFAPP Working Groups,
  • To ensure the coordination, promotion and advertising of education and training programmes from NMAs and the IFAPP Education and Certification Working Group to the target audiences,
  • To keep the IFAPP community informed about the latest achievements by the NMAs, the IFAPP Working Groups and stakeholders in the drug and medical device developments,
  • To keep regular up to-date communication and information with NMAs, IFAPP Individual Affiliates and key stakeholders through our communication channels: the IFAPP website, the monthly newsletter IFAPP TODAY and our IFAPP LinkedIn channels.

Measures

Concrete measures are laid down in a work plan that is drafted by the group and reviewed on an annual basis.
