In recent years, we have seen a wave of innovation and improvement in the field of communication technology that has touched every sphere of life. This movement has changed the way in which people conduct business and communicate with one another. Modern communication technology offers significant opportunities through various mediums: Internet, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook...etc., all the while presenting new challenges, such as digital burnout, isolation, and privacy.
At the same time, IFAPP considers communication with its National Members Associations (NMAs) to be one of its key missions, not only to keep them aware of their activities, but also to ensure that NMA perspectives are taken into account at the IFAPP level. The latter perspective is a major focus of our Working Group, and will be a standing topic of upcoming IFAPP meetings.
Indeed, creating a virtual community of professionals who will, very likely, never have the opportunity to meet in person, represents a challenge that we plan to address head-on.
Our Working Group is committed to keeping the IFAPP community updated on matters of global and national interest, and welcomes your contributions, which will be posted on our main communication channel, the IFAPP official website. In addition, our team encourages all colleagues to utilize the IFAPP Group platform on LinkedIn for direct exchange of information about relevant national activities and matters of likely, international relevance, as well as how the IFAPP can best support their national activities.
